Who am I? I’m Jessica Atcheson, an editor, writer, and activist—not to mention tiny house enthusiast, proofreader, knitter, obsessive checker of e-mail, enjoyer of sun and grass and rocky summits and the sound of water, voracious consumer of good ideas and good books, and all sorts more. I live in Boston and currently work as a writer/editor at a nonprofit dedicated to advancing human rights.

Why did I start this blog? Well, I’ve got some things to say (write) and share. I thought some people might want to hear (read) them. And it seemed like a fun way to establish some kind of semi-regular, sustainable writing-related practice.

What’s with the boots? 1. I like my kick-ass boots (currently Blundstones). 2. “Evolve,” by Ani DiFranco, one of my sheroes.
